International Markets show positive Indicators

InoTec presents in Hall 3, Stand G30, in conjunction with some of its national and international partners, the entire value added chain of providing digital data from paper documents and microfilm. The focal points are capture solutions based on the new SCAMAX 4x3 document scanners, methods of data processing using OCR/ICR and cost effective standard solutions for document management. The feed-back prior to the exhibition is very encouraging reports Peter Schnautz, CEO of InoTec: „We are counting on a large contingent of foreign visitors this year. Many interested parties have already made appointments for a stand visit“. This follows an excellent start to the year by the German scanner specialist. „Especially demand from abroad has increased“, explains Peter Schnautz. He is very happy with large orders from the UK, USA and Russia. The CeBIT participation is reason for double celebration: 2012 marks the 20th company anniversary and represents the 20th continuous participation by InoTec at CeBIT, the worlds largest IT Fair.

Comprehensive Input Management

Production scanning using Linux and achieving the rated speed of the new SCAMAX 4x3 models at 170 pages per minute will be demonstrated by Munich company SCE Software GmbH.
Digitisation is performed under Linux, whereas post-processing of scanned data takes place in a Windows environment. Apart from the scan client ‚TwinScan-Linux’ SCE will present software applications for incoming mail processing as well as accounts payable solutions that extract header data along with user data and table data extraction.
European Debut for UScan from Crowley:
The New Scanner from this US company digitises not only microfilm and microfiche, but also photographic material such as slides and negatives. Unique features of this handy device are: simple operation, colour digitisation option, as well as auto and batch scan options. Digital images generated can be emailed immediately, stored in a Cloud environment or loaded onto a USB stick.
Berlin based company Satz-Rechen-Zentrum (SRZ) presents Capture Software CROSSCAP 2.0 with extended functions. These include: customised user interface, shortcut keys for operator comfort, support of parallel scan processing, optional OCR module using Abby, recovery of scan projects after a system crash, “Database Lookup” function plus flexible batch separation.
The Genus Group, a UK vendor for document scanning, imaging and archiving solutions, will show how documents can be captured quickly and reliably. They will also demonstrate how the data captured during the process can be accessed at various locations by the use of an Online Repository.
Hoda Systems’  iReadDoc by is based on the latest ICR technology for automatic recognition of both Arabic and Latin handwritten characters. This Iranian solution provider’s software is able to retrieve information from numerous data field on forms and questionnaires, such as numeric values, name and personal data, barcodes, tick marks and check boxes. iReadDoc was used during the last population census in Iran where in excess of 75 million A4 forms containing Persian writing were captured. The recognition accuracy was a staggering 99.5 perecent.
Use of IRISXtract for Documents enables users to gain the full economic benefit of Business Process Outsourcing. The software for intelligent document processing is, depending on the respective business process requirements, also available as a Solutions Package. At CeBIT the focus will be on solution packages like ‚Accounts Payable’ and ‚Outsourcing’.
Apart from classic solutions for Document and Enterprise Content Management the exhibition presentation by IQDoQ this year will specifically focus on IQAkten.
As a viable alternative to costly tailor-made solutions IQAkten encompass all repetitive tasks found in specific departments or divisions of a company. The digital personnel file ‚IQAkte Personal‘ is a standard solution provided together with, for example, the standard service package ‚5Days2Go’ individually configured and at a fixed price, which includes connection to HR systems, Office software and E-Mail, and is ready to us in only five days.
