InoTec show the latest generation of document scanners and doubles their exhibition space

The German manufacturer of high-performance scanners, InoTec GmbH, announces a twofold increase of exhibition space at CeBIT 2011. „For the first time we were able to also entice international partners to a joint display at CeBIT. Together with solution providers from Germany, Iran, Great Britain, Belgium, Turkey and the Netherlands we will present advanced input management systems“, explained Peter Schnautz, CEO of Tec GmbH. The latest generation document scanners will be the display focus. The SCAMAX 4x2 Series convinces through technical precision and innovation.

Innovative Scan Technologies

One unique feature is the in-house developed LED based illumination system. The user advantage is markedly improved document illumination, which boosts image quality especially in colour scans. The power efficiency of the LEDs reduces the illumination system’s power consumption by 75 %.
Another proprietary development is the feed and transport system. It ensures fast, reliable processing of even the most challenging documents, like flimsy paper.
To maximise detection accuracy during colour capture SCAMAX 4x2 scanners now offer an additional processing method apart from automatic colour recognition. ‚Patchcode controlled colour switching’ enables precise definition of which documents are to be scanned bitonal only or colour only. This is done during document preparation by inserting appropriate patchcode sheets as needed.
All SCAMAX models stand out due to their robust construction and simple handling, both in operation and maintenance. Important scanner elements, like the contact feeder, are subject to minimal wear-and-tear. Furthermore, it is very simple for the operator to change them when needed.
The integrated TouchScreen enables intuitive operation of the scanner. Easily understood pictograms and full text messages further assist the operator.
The InoTec 4x2 series comprises three models, each one available in a simplex or duplex version: 402, 412 and 422 having scan speeds of 90, 120 and 150 sheets per minute.

CeBIT: Internationality brings Additional Business

For InoTec CeBIT is the most important international IT-Platform. „We have participated successfully at CeBIT since 1993. It generates additional business – both national as well as international“, emphasises Peter Schnautz.
National partners have used the presentation opportunities in front of an international audience over the last few years. „Now we were able to integrate our international partners into the CeBIT display “, rejoices Peter Schnautz.
Exhibiting partner companies include ECM-Services from the Netherlands, The Genus Group from Great Britain and Hoda System Co. from Iran, as well as IRIS AG from Aachen, Satz-Rechen-Zentrum from Berlin and SCE Software from Munich. Also the CeBIT partner country Turkey is represented on the InoTec booth by Systec Sistem Teknolojileri from Istanbul.
„The international expansion of our CeBIT booth provides visitors with an interesting insight into capture solutions from other countries. This can provide valuable impulses for their own input specifications“, according to Peter Schnautz.
