Positive feedback for new scanner series SCAMAX 4x3

InoTec & Partners: CeBIT generates global business opportunities

Both for InoTec, and those partners participating on our stand, CeBIT 2012 was a resounding success. On behalf of all participants Peter Schnautz, CEO of InoTec GmbH, emphasises the high quality of visitors and the multitude of high-level discussions about planned investments for digital document capture projects. The new SCAMAX 4x3 document scanners generated considerable interest. „ We were able to book the first confirmed orders from around the world for the new scanner series, both during the exhibition, as well as afterwards, “, professed Peter Schnautz. He accorded special commendations to the CeBIT organisers for the very smooth running of the event. „We would like to thank Deutsche Messe AG for the successful organisation and especially the outstanding management of potential problems due to the public transport strike during the event. Indeed we look forward to CeBIT next year.“

Focus on latest innovations

As Paul Negus, CEO of the Genus Group, InoTec’s Partner in the UK, emphasised „CeBIT 2012 offered an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest scanner innovations from InoTec to our customers.“
The feedback about the new SCAMAX 4x3 series was consistently positive. With four performance levels, a new 600 dpi camera, as well as InoTec’s Perfect Document Technology, it promotes increased scan productivity and presents itself as the universal digitising solutions for the most varying requirements – be it for centralised processing, for example for incoming mail, in branches or departments.
InoTec partners presenting software solutions for efficient document processing also expressed great satisfaction in their conclusions. „As  an InoTec partner we were able to successfully show at CeBIT 2012 that IRISXtractTM for Documents is an innovative and efficient platform for the development of document classification and extraction solutions. It offers excellent perspectives for the implementation of outsourcing concepts“, according to Manfred Traeger, Sales Director Outsourcing Services at  I.R.I.S. AG.
The InoTec stand not only offered opportunities to initiate new business contacts, but also facilitated final orders to be signed and confirmed. „Ultimate highlight of the CeBIT for Genus was the official announcement of the sale of eighteen InoTec scanners to a leading UK service bureau (BPO). This organisation is going to use the InoTec scanners to implement a significant project for the digitisation of patient records in a hospital environment“, explains Paul Negus.
InoTec CEO Peter Schnautz is also most delightedwith the announcement at CeBIT of the new international distribution agreement with DICOM. Both parties are confident this partnership will open up hitherto unexplored business opportunities for high-volume scan applications.
Starting with CeBIT last year InoTec has offered CeBIT visitors an international perspective on the subject ‚Input Management’. To achieve this, international partners were encouraged to participate on our stand and we doubled the stand area to accommodate them. This concept has proven itself very worthwhile, yet again, in 2012.
Thus, Chris Crowley, President of ‚The Crowley Company’, is delighted with his company’s successful CeBIT appearance. „CeBIT was, after the take-over of Wicks & Wilson, an important milestone in intensifying our European activities. We were able to conduct a multitude of business discussions. Their positive conclusion would be another accolade for the successful international focus of the InoTec partner area.“
As Peter Schnautz adds: „CeBIT is the leading international exhibition for the IT sector. This has been reinforced once again this year by generating important global business opportunities.“
