The EU Cyber Resilience Act

DATAWIN GmbH develops and manufactures professional document scanners and related solutions. The security of our products is an integral part of the entire product lifecycle—from development and the provision of updates to the handling of reported vulnerabilities.

On this page, we publish security advisories concerning affected products, available updates and recommended measures. Where necessary, additional technical information will also be made available via our partner and customer share.

Reporting a Vulnerability or Security Issue
The security of our products is a high priority for DATAWIN. If you discover a potential security vulnerability in a DATAWIN GmbH product, firmware, driver or software provided by DATAWIN GmbH, please notify us immediately.

Where possible, please provide the following information:

• affected product and model
• serial number, if known
• firmware, driver or software version in use
• description of the potential vulnerability
• steps to reproduce the issue
• potential impact
• measures already known or implemented
• your contact details for any follow-up questions

Please do not submit passwords, login credentials, personal data or confidential customer documents unless they are strictly necessary for the assessment. We review incoming reports, acknowledge receipt and contact you if we have any questions. Please do not disclose information about a potential vulnerability before DATAWIN GmbH has had the opportunity to investigate it and—where necessary—provide appropriate measures.

The contact address above is intended exclusively for reporting potential product vulnerabilities and product-related security incidents. Please submit general support requests, operating questions, repair requests and technical faults through our regular service channels.
