The efficiency of the digital mailroom stands and falls with the scanner infrastructure
„We modernized our scanner infrastructure several years ago in order to increase the efficiency of processing of our incoming mail and to significantly reduce the manual work involved. We acquired the necessary high-performance scanners from the company InoTec GmbH Organisationssysteme. […] Our new, multi-stage process of handling our incoming mail, which besides scanning letter mail coordinates the receipt of faxes by the central fax server, the conversion of incoming mail in image formats and the subsequent transfer of all three types of mail entry to the new OCR sub-system, has proven itself in practice to be highly efficient.“
